All my life, I've spent building various skills that in very few ways compliment each other.

A jack of all trades if you will, my interests are varied and my skills too.

 

Lately I've found myself becoming more and more interested in home interiors, I love thinking how I would do things in a property.

I've always had a love for smart home technology, which is why I decided to install it for a living! My passion became my job, I mean you cant beat that, right?

​

So. How do interiors and technology relate?

                                                      Trust me. They can.

 

Firstly my career means the properties I work and install very complex systems in, are designed to look like regular 'non smart' homes. In my role as an AV engineer I have to install what the client requires, usually at the mercy of an interior designer, so most of the tech has to be discreet.

The discreet aspect means we have to be mindful of the interior look and find the right product to suit the location.

Secondly I wanted to share my knowledge and love for interiors, to provide ideas for your homes and design ideas. 

Throughout this blog I'll be exploring interior design, how to do it and the best tech to fill your space with! Interior design is an interest I've always, but I've never explored it or learnt about it, so this is a place to share my journey with you.

​

Ultimately, I wanted to share this journey with the world and hopefully inspire someone on their journey.
